Doggy Day Care Centre welcomes Plum!

Plum is a beautiful Golden Retriever, he is a little shy but very gentle natured.
The Golden Retriever is a very popular Gun dog breed as is the Labrador. They are employed today for their compatibility in companionship, showmanship and obedience.

Golden Retrievers are quick to learn and eager to please, patient, fun-loving, full of energy and easily trained. A very popular choice of Dog to be the much loved family pet.

The recent film Marley and Me really put Golden Retrievers in the lime light. Marley captured the heart of thousands. It's based on John Grogan's bestselling autobiography, so that helps the story keep a certain authenticity.

Plum is spending his second day with us and although it's clear he's a little sad when his owner leaves, he quickly perks up and joins in the play time with the other dogs.
He's our super star of the day!

Day Care equals Happy Dogs.

Since the launch of Doggie Day care on the 8th June 2009, we have been recieving daily enquiries and new attendants!

It's great to spend every day with these dogs, get to know their personalities and visa versa. We've had reports back from the owners that the some of the troublesome dogs are becoming better behaved as each week passes.

They really start to come out of their shell and become more confident with every visit to the Day Care Centre.

Here is Louis, a Pug/French bull dog cross. He's a handsome, playful and joyful character who loves chasing balls and playing tug of war. He is such a man and it's great to get to know this big personality. Louis is not fussed about being given love and cuddles, he just want you to throw the ball and play with him......all day long!
Louis has recentley had a serious opperation on his back, so the carers have to be mind full of certain things but he is well on his way to recovery, which is fantastic!

His owners Nick and Clay have repported back to us saying that Louis is an all round happier and more active dog since coming to day care. He joined us in the second week and you can see how happy he is. He's a valued member at Dog Day Care.
Both the team and the other dogs enjoy having Louis at the centre.

With so many dog owners working full time, it's hard to know what to do with your dog when you go about your daily routines.

Imagine your dog at home all day, normally confined to one room, missing you, missing human contact and missing being part of the pack.
